The Thomas Hale Jr. Memorial Scholarship is put in place to support one college student throughout all four years of schooling. The student must have a documented mental health diagnosis. This scholarship was created to recognize the challenges and adversity that students face when dealing with mental health, as an adolescent and teenager. It is our hope that the financial support will alleviate some of the financial burden you may have as you enter college. Hanover Community Support Services is excited to offer this renewable $500 scholarship to one graduating 2023 senior.

Madison is a very enthusiastic artist. During her free time, she enjoys drawing, sketching, coloring, and writing. Art is and has always been one of her favorite hobbies. It provides a tremendous amount of stress relief for Madison and allows her to create interesting characters and worlds. Madison also attended Hanover Young Life Capernaum Club and Jacob's Chance Sports (which includes VCU Inclusive Fitness and Health). In addition, she also serves on the Youth Empowerment Transition Council. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her friends and family. Congratulations, Madison!
